Employee Setup

Learn how to set up and manage employees in your Bolt account.

From the Setup page in Bolt, click on the Employees link.

From this page, you can create new and manage existing employees. Employees can select their name when creating inspections and refuels via the machine QR code page.

Employees vs Members

Create New Employee

  1. Click on the new Employee button

  2. Fill in the employee’s details

  3. Click the Save button

Archive Employee

Employees can be archived when they no longer need to create records via the QR Codes:

  1. Navigate to the Employee page from the Setup page.

  2. Click on the employee that you want to archive

  3. Click on the dropdown action button at the top right of the page

  4. Click on the Archive Employee option

  5. Click on the confirmation button.

No historical data will be lost when an employee is archived.

Manage Archived Employees

To view a list of archived employees:

  • Click on the Employees link from the Setup page.

  • Click on the dropdown action button at the top right of the page

  • Click on the View Archived Employees option

To make an archived employee active again

  • Click on their name from the Archived employee list.

  • Click on the Remove from Archive button
